Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage

Authenticity and belonging are cornerstones of a healthy and positive workplace culture. Yet, all too often, employees of color feel that they need to hide their heritage and white-wash their culture in order to belong at work. The vibrant Hispanic and Latinx culture resonates far beyond the United States. To foster a healthy workplace environment, it is crucial to provide acceptance training and create a space where employees of Hispanic and Latinx heritage can freely embrace their authentic selves.

This microlesson aims to celebrate Hispanic Heritage and demonstrate appreciation for the differences we all bring to our teams. It is also a reminder that we should all strive to be our authentic selves and avoid code-switching if at all possible.
